A small studio in Kitwe with big-site standards.

SiteReadyZM exists for one reason: too many good Zambian businesses are invisible online — or worse, visible through a slow, broken website that scares customers away. We fix that. In days, not months.

Fast beats perfect WhatsApp is commerce Mobile money or it didn't happen Honest pricing Ship in days Zambian pride

SiteReadyZM was founded in Kitwe, on the Copperbelt, after one too many conversations with business owners who had been quoted six figures and six months for a website — or who had paid someone and ended up with a slow, templated page that did nothing. The gap was obvious: Zambian businesses didn't need agency theatre. They needed a fast, good-looking site that brings enquiries and orders, at a price that makes sense in kwacha, delivered by people who pick up the phone.

So we built the studio we wished existed. Small, senior, and obsessed with speed — speed of the websites we ship, and speed of shipping them. Our first clients were local: a restaurant, a hardware supplier, a fundraiser. Word travelled the way it does in Zambia — through WhatsApp groups and referrals. Today our work spans a Zambian-owned civil engineering contractor taken from invisible to tender-ready in under a week, a solar & electrical supplier whose WhatsApp-wired store took orders in its first week, a Lusaka perfume boutique turning TikTok traffic into same-day orders, and a Mufulira kitchen whose menu now books tables while the pots are on.

We've stayed deliberately lean. No account managers reading from scripts. When you work with SiteReadyZM, you work with the designers and developers doing the work. That's how a demo lands in your hands 48 hours after the brief — and how "these guys understand business, not just design" ended up in a client review.

Mission

Put every serious Zambian business online — properly — with a website that pays for itself before the invoice is even due.

Properly means: fast on a mid-range Android and a rural network. Clear in plain English. Beautiful enough to win tenders and impress first dates with customers. And wired to WhatsApp and mobile money, because that's how Zambia actually buys.

Values

What we refuse to compromise on.

Four rules pinned above every project we take.

VALUE 01

Speed is a feature

A site that loads in seconds sells; a site that loads in minutes dies. We optimise images, write lean code, and test on the kinds of phones and networks your customers actually use — not on a studio iMac with fibre.

VALUE 02

Plain English, always

You'll never hear us say "elevate your digital presence." We say: here's what we're building, here's what it costs, here's when it ships. If we can't explain it simply, we don't understand it well enough yet.

VALUE 03

Honest pricing

Prices on the website. K1,000 means K1,000. 50% deposit via MTN or Airtel mobile money, balance on delivery. No hidden "maintenance surprises", no hostage-taking of your own domain.

VALUE 04

Built for how Zambia buys

WhatsApp buttons on every page. Mobile money in the checkout flow. Data-light pages for expensive bundles. We design for the real economy — street-side, chat-driven, phone-first.

  1. Brief — we listen first

One conversation (WhatsApp, call, or coffee in Kitwe). What do you sell? Who buys it? What should the site make them do? We confirm scope, timeline and price in writing before anything else.

  2. Demo in 48h — see it before you sink into it

After the 50% deposit lands via MTN or Airtel mobile money, you get a clickable demo within 48 hours. Real layout, real copy direction, your brand colours. Approve, or tell us what to change.

  3. Build — the craft part

Full build with progress updates: content, gallery, WhatsApp wiring, SEO basics, speed optimisation, and testing on real Android devices. Revisions are part of the process, not a billed surprise.

  4. Launch & Care — we stay reachable

We launch, hand over the keys, and train you (or your team) to manage day-to-day content. Balance is due on delivery. Add a Care Plan from K250/month for updates, backups and priority support.

Tools & stack

Boring technology.
Exciting results.

We pick tools for speed, reliability and ease of handover — never for resume points. Your site stays yours, portable and standard.

The team

Small crew.
Everyone ships.

No layers between you and the people doing the work. When you WhatsApp SiteReadyZM, a builder answers.

Apton Katoma, CEO and founder of SiteReadyZM

The founder

“A Zambian business deserves a website as sharp as anything in London or Lagos — at a Kitwe price. Ready today, grow tomorrow.”

Apton started SiteReadyZM after watching too many good Zambian businesses lose tenders, customers and credibility to an invisible online presence — or pay six-figure quotes for sites that took six months to appear. So he built the studio he wished existed: honest kwacha prices, a demo in 48 hours, and builds wired to WhatsApp where Zambian commerce actually happens. He still designs the pages and still answers the WhatsApp.

Developer · E-Commerce & Automations

Wires carts to WhatsApp, squeezes pages under a second, and builds the chatbots and automations that keep selling after hours. Tests every build on real Android phones on real Zambian networks before it ever reaches you.

Lydia

Marketing & Growth

Turns a finished website into traffic: Google Business Profile, search console groundwork, launch campaigns and the honest advice on which channel actually pays for your kind of business — not whichever is trendiest.

Catherine, social media manager at SiteReadyZM

Catherine

Social Media Management

Keeps live sites and their socials alive: content drops, review nudges, Care Plan updates and backups — so your business looks open, current and trustworthy every single week, not just on launch day.

Zambia's economy runs on hustle — the trader in Kitwe who answers fifty WhatsApp orders a day, the Mazabuka engineer whose safety record deserves a website as strong as her welds, the Lusaka boutique whose TikTok goes viral on a Friday and needs a store that survives the traffic on Saturday. These businesses don't need a foreign agency's deck; they need someone who understands that a customer on a K200 Android with 50MB left in their bundle is still a customer worth winning.

That's why we build mobile-first by default, why every site is wired to WhatsApp, why we take mobile money for our own invoices — and why our prices are in kwacha that make sense for a Copperbelt SME, not a Sandton corporate. We're proud to be a Zambian studio competing on quality with the whole world. Our clients' sites are proof: a contractor whose new site changed how tenders see them, a solar supplier taking store orders in week one, a perfume boutique closing same-day sales from TikTok, a kitchen filling tables before service starts.
